Streamflow conditions in the province are generally normal to above normal at this time of year.

Changes over the past 24 hours, unless otherwise indicated.

Bow River at Banff: 58 cms (decreased from 61 cms)
Bow River at Cochrane: 157 cms (decreased from 169 cms)

Bow River at Calgary: 128 cms (decreased from135 cms)
Bow River below Carseland Dam: 133 cms (decreased from 142 cms)

- On Thursday July 27, the Bow River at Calgary decreased 60 cms, from 273 cms down to 213 cms.)

- On Friday August 03, the flow rate of the Bow River at Calgary came down to below 200 cms for the first time since early June!

- On Wednesday Aug 15, the flow rate of the Bow River at Calgary came down to below 150 cms for the first time since early June!

Warm till Wed…

Well more than a dozen records were smashed as temp. reached into the 30’s in many parts of S.Alta. this aft. Tomorrow and Tue. look to be repeat performances, albeit with a small chance of a t-shower Tue. eve. The latter part of the week will be cooler, with showers likely Wed. and Fri. Your garden will welcome the moisture after all this warmth!
