"A Belated fishing report for last Saturday. Started the day nymphing and landed 3 rainbows in first couple of hours on hares ear and pheasant tail nymphs size 14.

Switched to hopper dropper by midday and turned a dozen fish on the hopper. Landed 4 rainbows biggest 16 inches and had two LDRs with.big fish. Brown fat Albert turned the most fish. Droppers were caddis emergers or size 12 14 soft hackle wet flies. Hooked some small to medium size Bows on the dropper.

Busy day on the river Many drift boats, canoes, and other floating craft. Most of the prime locations were occupied so we didn't stop and look for snouts.

Significant amount of fishers were using "pots and pans" and seemed to be hooking fish.

Netted several Bows on caddis in the evening, no monsters. Did not chuck streamers this trip

Only the single fisher in the boat and netted 15 fish. I think the hopper fishing is just beginning and will stay hot till the first frost.

Had a great day.

Cheers,"
