Today along the Bow River - August 2012

Streamflow conditions in the province are generally normal to above normal at this time of year.

Changes over the past 24 hours, unless otherwise indicated.

The Bow River at Banff decreased 4 cms over the past 24 hours, and is at 70 cms.

The Bow River at Calgary decreased 15 cms over the past 24 hours, and is at 160 cms.

Bow River at Banff: 70 cms (decreased from 74 cms)
Bow River at Cochrane: 180 cms (decreased from 195 cms)

Bow River at Calgary: 160 cms (decreased from 175 cms)
Bow River below Carseland Dam: 184 cms (increased from 176 cms)

- On Thursday July 27, the Bow River at Calgary decreased 60 cms, from 273 cms down to 213 cms.)

- On Friday August 03, the flow rate of the Bow River at Calgary came down to below 200 cms for the first time since early June!

Calgary Weather 

Changes take place tomorrow as an upper trough and surface Low come together to cool us off and give us rain to showers.
