Monday: flurries, becoming evening snow
Under clearing skies, 4 new records were set in Southern Alberta this morning, the coldest being Brocket and Milk River at -10C. More cloud persisted further north, and will stay with us through mid-week. A developing storm in Montana will turn tomorrow’s flurries to periods of snow by Monday night. The snow will be heaviest near the Montana border, where 10 to 20 cm are possible. Further north,(around Calgary), 5 to 10 cm. could fall. After a rough morning commute Tuesday, the snow should end by mid-day, however temperatures will remain cold for the rest of the week.
