Today along the Bow River - October 2012

This pair of Mallards on the Bow doesn't seem to mind the early arrival of winter.

Weekend flurries, then a break. Maybe.

The cold, and sometimes snowy weather is expected to go on for a few more days yet. We may not break out of this until the end of the weekend. Light snow is expected to resume late Friday, and continue through parts of Saturday. It's all very uncertain, but at this point there is a chance sunshine will return Sunday, with much warmer weather on the way for Halloween.

Thursday night: Partly to mostly cloudy, low -8
Friday: Cloudy, late afternoon, evening snow flurries, high -5
Saturday: Periods of light snow, high -6
Sunday: Morning flurries, then partial clearing, high -2
Monday: Mainly sunny, high 4
Tuesday: Mainly sunny, high 8
