Today along the Bow River - October 2012

It got up to 14.0 °C by early afternoon. A bit windy at 38 km/h. The sky went from overcast to mostly cloudy to scattered clouds as the hours rolled by. All in all, a pleasant day to be out on the Bow.

Our shuttle clients were putting in or taking out at all the boat launches today - Glenmore, 22X, Police, Mac and Cars. Missing was Legacy Island. But that's already on our booking list for tomorrow.

 Sun. is your day!

Temps. reached 20C in the Peace Riv. region this aft., and that air is heading our way. Brisk w. winds will pull our temps. into the high teens tomorrow. Unfortunately, a cold front will push down from the n. Sun. eve. There could be some wet snow behind it tomorrow night as the air cools, and accumulations are likely in the foothills. Thanksgiving will be a fairly cloudy, chilly day, with temps. remaining in the single no.’s. After a slight moderation Tue., more chilly weather is expected until Fri.
