This is fall?

Despite the high cloud and haze, temps. rose into the summer-like high 20’s in many parts of S.Alta. for the first day of fall, topped off by Med. Hat. at a sweltering 28C. Tomorrow will be a virtual repeat of today, summer lovers! More cloud will move in P.M. Mon. making it just a touch cooler, and scat. P.M. showers Tue. will keep the temp. from reaching 20C. However, temps. should resume a sig. upward trend later in the week.

Changes over the past 24 hours, unless otherwise indicated. 

Bow River at Banff:  steady 27 cms
Bow River at Calgary: fluctuating 68 cms - 71 cms
Bow River below Carseland Dam: fluctuating 43 cms – 47 cms

- On Wednesday Sept 05, the flow rate of the Bow River at Calgary came down to below 100 cms for the first time since mid-May.

- On Monday Sept 10, the flow rate of the Bow River at Calgary came down to below 70 cms for the first time since mid-April.
