Summery start to week

It was another warm, albeit hazy day in Alta., with the temp. peaking at 29C in Drumheller to claim the nation’s hot-spot. Tomorrow will be similar, although there will be more cloud developing in the P.M. A weak cold front will drift through P.M. Tue., dropping our temps. by about 5 degrees, and possibly producing a few eve. sprinkles. Temps. will warm up again after mid-week - a mid-20’s return to summer - for a while…

Changes over the past 24 hours, unless otherwise indicated. 

Bow River at Banff:  steady 27 cms
Bow River at Calgary: fluctuating 71 cms - 74 cms
Bow River below Carseland Dam: fluctuating 47 cms – 53 cms

- On Wednesday Sept 05, the flow rate of the Bow River at Calgary came down to below 100 cms for the first time since mid-May.

- On Monday Sept 10, the flow rate of the Bow River at Calgary came down to below 70 cms for the first time since mid-April.
