Frost Warning
A frost warning was issued Tuesday afternoon for most of southern and central Alberta east of Hwy 22. Temperatures Tuesday night and Wednesday morning in these regions could bottom out near or just below zero. While Calgary is included in the frost warning, temperatures will likely remain above zero in the urban area.
Wednesday marks the beginning of a warming trend, which will accelerate as temperatures return to the 20s on Thursday.

Streamflow conditions in the province are generally normal to above normal at this time of year.
Changes over the past 24 hours, unless otherwise indicated.
Bow River at Banff: fluctuating 33 cms - 34 cms
Bow River at Calgary: 64 cms (decreased from 70 cms)
Bow River below Carseland Dam: fluctuating 62 cms - 74 cms
- On Thursday July 27, the Bow River at Calgary decreased 60 cms, from 273 cms down to 213 cms.)
- On Friday August 03, the flow rate of the Bow River at Calgary came down to below 200 cms for the first time since early June.
- On Wednesday Aug 15, the flow rate of the Bow River at Calgary came down to below 150 cms for the first time since early June.
- On Monday Aug 20, the flow rate of the Bow River at Calgary came down to around 105 cms for the first time since early June.
- On Wednesday Sept 05, the flow rate of the Bow River at Calgary came down to below 100 cms for the first time since mid-May.
- On Monday Sept 10, the flow rate of the Bow River at Calgary came down to below 70 cms for the first time since mid-April.
