With the recent snow fall behind us, and a promising weather forecast, Bow River fly fishers were anxious to get out on the water today.
It was sad to see the farmer's fields along the Bow, of wheat, barley and other grains, flattened by the wet heavy snow we received earlier this week. It's been reported that only about 13% of Alberta's crops had been harvested prior to the snow storms.
The boat launch at 22X/Fish Creek Park is closed. It will reopen on or before Sept 19. (note new date).
