Today along the Bow River - September 2014

Photo, © Bow River Shuttles

The view looking west to the Canadian Rockies, which are capped with our recent snowfall, has been spectacular the past few days. This photo was from the top of the Bow Valley at McKinnon Flats this morning.

CTV Calgary Skywatch Weather says: "Sun Shines, Temperatures Rise. The second half of September is shaping up to be much warmer than the first half, when the high temperature averaged only 14.8 degrees."

The boat launch at 22X/Fish Creek Park is closed. It will reopen on or before Sept 19. (note new date).
