Today along the Bow River - June 2012

There were actually three deer in a small group near a Bow River boat launch today. This one posed the best.  Take a guess at which boat launch?

The Bow River in Calgary was steady over the past 24 hours.

The tributaries increased marginally.

Bow River at Calgary: 250 cms
Elbow River below Glenmore dam: 39 cms
Fish Creek: 3 cms
Highwood River near the mouth: 70 cms

Total Bow River flow below Highwood: 362 cms

Cool 'til Thursday

Unsettled weather continues across southern Alberta Monday night and Tuesday. There may be some sunny breaks Tuesday morning, but there will be showers and a chance of thunderstorms as the day goes on. The disturbed weather will continue until Wednesday. Precipitatation will end by Wednesday, but it will take a couple of days after that before temperatures return to the seasonal average
