"We’ve been on the “Snowtember” roller coaster ride this week…. and what a crazy ride it’s been. As a follow up to last week’s river level fluctuations, Mother Nature – actually Old Man Winter – decided to have some fun with us. After a seasonal weekend, we were warned to expect some snow and below seasonal temperatures for early in the week. This morphed in to a 3-day snow event that saw power outages throughout many parts of the city, downed trees, startled bird life, and cold/wintry river conditions."
