VIOLETA SE FUE A LOS CIELOS (Violeta Went to Heaven), the winner of the FIPRESCI Prize at the GUADALAJARA Mexican Film Festival and the winner of the World Cinema Dramatic Grand Jury Prize at the SUNDANCE Film Festival, will be coming to Ca lgary as part of the Calgary Latin Wave film festival.
Actress Francisca Gavilán has won Best Actress awards at the LIMA Latin American Film Festival and at the GUADALAJARA Mexican Film Festival. Her performance transcends the screen and captures a larger than life legend.
