The club kicked off 2015 with a meeting that included the introduction of a new lending library of books and DVDs, an explanation of several new club projects and, of course, fly tying. Oh yes... and there was cake and other goodies to snack on. :-)

The club meets on the third Thursday monthly at the Bow Habitat Station

We invite you to join the Calgary Women Fly Fishers as we embark on this journey. Membership offers many excellent opportunities including:

- Learning about and exploring the world of fly fishing;

- Taking part in outings on local waters and beyond;

- Attending talks from local experts about fishing, fisheries management, and science;

- Getting involved in conservation and stewardship initiatives;

The driving force behind the Canadian National Fly Fishing Championships & Conservation Symposium are volunteers from the Calgary Hook and Hackle Club and the Calgary Women Fly Fishers Club. 

A number of them were 'on the job' yesterday afternoon, looking after all aspects of the registration process.
