Today along the Bow River - June 2014

Photo, © Bow River Shuttles

A similar number of drift boats to yesterday were floating the various river reaches between Glenmore Trail and McKinnon Flats today.

The overnight rain showers did not seem to change the greenish co
lour of the water.

Everett D. (in the photo) reported 8" to 12" of visibility above Fish Creek, dropping to around 5" downstream.

He and his fishing partner brought 6 trout to the boat, 2 rainbows and 4 browns. One rainbow on a leech pattern, the rest on the worm.
