River forecasters keep watch as rains approach

With warmer temperatures melting the snow, the province's river forecasters report some minor flooding along creeks and streams - but no impact on major rivers such as the Bow, Highwood or Oldman.

For that, they're looking to the Rockies where the snowpack is average to above average.

But both forecasters and experts agree it's still to early to tell what that will mean in June.
