Subject: Salmonid misidentification by anglers
"A prerequisite for anglers to participate in the Quirk Creek Brook Trout Suppression Project (which is entering its sixteenth year) and the Stewardship Licence Pilot Project (which is entering its fifth year) is that they must pass a fish ID test.

The attached report not only indicates why this is necessary, but will hopefully stimulate discussion about how we might be able to permit harvest of more trout in flowing waters in the Eastern Slopes, while simultaneously reducing the potential for harvest of protected trout due to misidentification.
