Streamflow conditions in the province are generally normal to above normal at this time of year.

Changes over the past 24 hours, unless otherwise indicated.

The Bow River at Banff is unchanged over the past 24 hours, and is at 102 cms.

The Bow River at Calgary has decreased 8 cms over the past 24 hours, and is at 215 cms.

Bow River at Banff: 102 cms (unchanged from 102 cms)
Bow River at Cochrane: 204 cms (down from 223 cms)

Bow River at Calgary: 215 cms (down from 223 cms)
Bow River below Carseland Dam: 208 cms (up from 202 cms)

(On Thursday July 27, the Bow River at Calgary had decreased 60 cms, from 273 down to 213.)

Cool, Unsettled

Temperatures will remain below average for the next few days, as unsettled and unstable weather continues. We're likely to see more showers and possible thundershowers Wednesday, though they may not break out until the evening. Temperatures should return to the low 20s Wednesday, but will only reach the mid teens Thursday, with rain falling through much of the day. as of now, it looks like it willl dry out and warm up for the long weekend.
