Today along the Bow River - July 2012

The Bow River at Calgary has decreased 60 cms over the past 24 hours, and is at 213 cms!  We saw gravel bars today that have been underwater for many weeks!

Streamflow conditions in the province are generally normal to above normal at this time of year.

Changes over the past 24 hours, unless otherwise indicated.

The Bow River at Banff is unchanged over the past 24 hours, and is at 120 cms.

The Bow River at Calgary has decreased 60 cms over the past 24 hours, and is at 213 cms.

Bow River at Banff: 120 cms (unchanged from 120 cms)
Bow River at Cochrane: 216 cms (down from 246 cms)

Bow River at Calgary: 213 cms (down from 273 cms)
Bow River below Carseland Dam: 230 cms (down from 266 cms)

Sunny and Warm!

We're in for several days of sunshine in Calgary and across southern Alberta. Temperatures will rise to the mid to high twenties over the next few days. The only weather related concern will be the potential for sunburn.
