A family trip on the Bow today!

Nick and his wife Mel usually fish the Bow from their large tandem pontoon boat, which is outfitted with a fishing frame. 

However, Nick's sister Barbara from Toronto is visiting, and they needed a three person drift boat. Our Clackacraft rental boat fit the bill!

Ron S. was the successful bidder last fall for the drift boat rental package I donated for the silent auction at the Canadian National Fly Fishing Championships & Conservation Symposium fundraising event in September 2014.

He and his two fly fishing buddies picked today to claim their prize. And what a gorgeous day it's looking to be!

Originally from Cranbrook, B.C. himself, Dave organized an overnight fly fishing/camping trip on the Bow. He invited two long time friends from Cranbrook to join him. They're outfitted with our Clackcraft rental boat.

Fortunately, we're in a warming trend over the weekend, with highs of 11°C and 17°C forecast for today and tomorrow.

This team of fly fishers from the West Coast arrived this morning for their annual trip on the Bow. They'll be exploring the river from one of our rental boats, the South Fork Skiff.

Kent and his friends will be enjoying a day on the Bow River in one of the boats from Bow River Drift Boat Rentals - a Clackacraft.

Kent usually rows his own tandem pontoon boat - one of the few such boats on the Bow.

However, today he wanted to take two friends out, and needed a bigger boat.

Gary and Trent, visiting the Bow River from Northern Alberta, picked up one of our Bow River Drift Boat Rentals boats this morning. They'll be spending the next three days exploring our river.

They've walked and waded the Bow many times in the past. But this will be their first float trips.

If you see a South Fork Skiff over the next few days, give them a wave.
