'FALL RUN' coming to Calgary Feb 19, 2014!

Fall Run *trailer* by Todd Moen from Todd Moen Creative on Vimeo.

'FALL RUN' coming to Calgary Feb 19, 2014!

CANADIAN PREMIERE

2014 | Official Selection | Wild & Scenic Film Festival

“Fall Run” is the ultimate Pacific Northwest steelhead adventure. This is the true story every angler dreams about retelling around the campfire forever. Hooking and landing a steelhead on a fly is not easy. It is arguably the most difficult type of fly fishing in the world. Add the challenges of Mother Nature’s moods, an unpredictable wild creature and one single, split-moment chance to capture it all on film……..and you’ve got a recipe for a movie house flop. But against all possible odds, luck lands on the right side for the filming of this high-action angling adventure.

Sold Out!! Back Cast Fly Fishing Film Festival 2013

The 2013 edition of Back Cast Fly Fishing Film Festival was a sold out success!! Many thanks to all of our fans and supporters for joining us for an absolutely wonderful evening.

Special thanks to our 'Friends of Back Cast FFFF' for setting up their display tables and helping add a true feeling of 'festival' to this special annual event.

Big THANKS to all the 'Supporters of Back Cast FFFF' for their donated items. The funds raised will go a long way towards helping the Canadian Youth National Fly Fishing Team attend their planned events during 2013.

Thanks also to Kyle Snarr, Canadian Youth National Fly Fishing Team member, for making a special effort to ensure his display table was set up before he had to leave to teach a fly tying class at Bow River Troutfitters. He then made it back before the end of the evening, just in time to help out with the draws, watch the final film, and thank everyone for their support of the Youth Team. :-)
