Spending the day on the river with the 'legend' of "Blue Ribbon Bow" fame.
We spoke with two of my shuttle clients at different times at Mac this afternoon. Both parties, while not together, were on the river quite early. They reported excellent stone fly fishing until mid-morning. Activity dropped off for awhile, and then picked up again. They were very happy with their day on the Bow.
The flow of the Bow River at Banff dropped below 100 cms for the first time since the runoff. That's undammed, natural flow.
The Bow River at Calgary seems to be having a bit of trouble making a decision over the past 48 hours. After being down around 130 cms last night, it's currently back up around 165 cms.
