A Day With Martin Droz in Calgary - A Look Back

Fly Fishing Team Canada organized a special advanced river fly fishing clinic with World Champion Martin Droz from the Czech Republic. The Calgary date was last Thursday May 08.

This event was a fundraiser for Team Canada that will represent our country at the World Fly Fishing Championship 2014 - Frymburk/Czech Republic

Things got going with all the participants meeting for a 9:00 am start at Fish Tales Fly Shop. After about 1.5 hours of classroom style teaching, everyone headed to the Bow River.

Bow River Shuttles managed to drop by the river in the early afternoon for a short time between our shuttles. We got a few photos that we hope will give our readers a taste of what it was like to be there.
