First there was Black Friday, the tradition that grew out of American Thanksgiving where retailers enticed shoppers into their stores with incredible sales that put their books into the black. Then came Cyber Monday, an Internet-shopping spree born out of clever marketing to extend the buying craziness through the weekend.
And now there is something completely new, an idea to channel the spirit to shop into the spirit of giving.
