The following message came from Don Pike, regarding Gord Kennedy of West Winds Fly Shop in Calgary...

"Gord Kennedy, owner of West Winds Fly Shop, passed away suddenly yesterday. His passing is a tremendous shock to all of us in the Calgary and much broader fly fishing community. Gord was a one of the Bow River's true champions. He invested a great deal of time and effort working to ensure the river would be protected for this and future generations. We will all miss him."
