Back Cast Flood Relief Benefit Film Night - A Look Back

Last evening, almost exactly one month after after the start of our 2013 Flood, a friendly and generous group of fly fishers gathered to give something back to the victims of this devastating event. We'll get back to you once we've done our final tally, but for now we can report that $790 was raised from the raffle alone!
Although we screened a number of excellent fly fishing films that folks obviously enjoyed, the main attraction, for sure, was our guest speakers.

Brian Meagher, Provincial Biologist, Trout Unlimited Canada and Dave DePape, Program Manager - Fish and Wildlife, Prairies Area, ESRD, assisted by Paul Christensen, Area Fisheries Biologist, Fish and Wildlife, ESRD.

I think everyone agreed it was a great experience being able to hear directly from these professionals so soon after our catastrophic flood.

Many thanks to all three of them for taking part in our special event.
