Picture perfect fishing
The air was full of mayflies and caddis as I parked by a stretch of the upper river and rigged up the fly rod. Fish were popping in a pool close by and within 10 minutes I’d caught and released two fat 16-inch cutthroats. Perfect.

Sometimes I head out to go fishing and end up doing something else and sometimes I head out to do something else and then end up going fishing.
