Streamers & Archeology for Anglers


Sat Feb 11 (10 am): Mike Gifford will present on some of his most effective techniques for fishing streamers, from foot and from the drift boat.





Sun Feb 12 (1 pm): Introduction to Archeology for Anglers. Rivers were the highways of First Nations and Native Americans. A source of transportation and fresh water, the vast majority of archaeological sites are found in and around river drainage systems. With hundreds of sites in Calgary alone, come hear archaeologist Sean Britt talk about the nature of archaeological sites, what to look for and what to do if you encounter something while out on a float or a walk and wade.
