Our Canadian Thanksgiving Day saw drift boaters floating all reaches of the lower Bow River, from Glenmore through to Johnson's Island/Carsland.

Another nice day in the neighbourhood. There were a few rain showers along the Bow today, although none in Calgary.
CTV Calgary Sky Watch Weather says: "Summery week ahead". :-)
The boat launch at 22X/Fish Creek Park is still closed for repairs.

Chasing trout on the Bow. It's a brand new month!
The Bow River at Calgary flow rate touched 100 cms today for the first time since late May.

A very nice day, although a little bit windy at times. Oh well.. you can't have everything. :-) Another slow day for activity on the river. A few banks anglers along each of the reaches, from Glenmore to Police. One drift boat that we know of... a family trip.
At the moment, the forecast looks good right through next weekend.
The Bow River at Banff seems to have leveled off at just under 50 cms since this morning, after shooting straight up from 16 cms over the past five days.

Although it was a chilly 4°C first thing this morning, it gradually warmed up as the day went on. Several drift boats were out, along with a few more bank anglers than we've seen in several days. All getting a head start on our Victoria Day Long Weekend.

Since last Thursday's 21 °C, we haven't gotten above 5 °C until today. And it's also the first day since that date that we haven't had some snow flurries!
