Trout Unlimited Canada writes: "The 2014 Fish Rescue was a great success, thanks to our many amazing volunteers who came out to help Trout Unlimited Canada and Alberta Environment and Sustainable Resource Development.

This year 50,785 fish were rescued from six irrigation canals diverting water from the Bow, Oldman, Belly, Highwood, and Waterton river systems.

Trout Unlimited Canada would like to thank all those who helped make this event possible, and our sponsors at Lassonde Western Canada, Tim Hortons, and Navajo Metals for their in-kind contributions to the rescue."
