The Calgary International Blues Festival comes to town this week.
One of the opening acts is Canadian roots supergroup Blackie and the Rodeo Kings.
Guitar slinger Ellen McIlwaine, who now calls Calgary home, is also in the lineup.
Other headliners include Doors founder Ray Manzarek with Roy Rogers and the John Mayall Band.
