Catch Magazine #17

Brian O’Keefe’s Slide Show on the Boundary Waters Canoe Wilderness reminded me of the canoe camping trips my husband and I did in the mid-80s on the Churchill River system in Northern Saskatchewan.

Two canoes, three daughters and our Husky/Malamute Smokey. The same spectacular PreCambrian Shield wilderness, with all the water, islands and rock. The same great pike fishing, although we called them Jackfish. :-) Great memories there!

Lots more in this issue: From a superb photo essay on Tanzania Tigerfish (Jim Klug), to a short primer on black and white photography (Jacob Gibb) to the T-Motion Theatre ‘Backcountry Dorado’ (Todd Moen), this issue will keep you coming back for weeks.
