Today along the Bow River - August 2012

Trolling for trout.  Can you spot the green fly fishing line, over the fly fisher's right shoulder and the stern of the canoe?

This is Mike's new plate.  He tells us that near the end of every trip, he says "This will be the last cast".  He says it over and over and over... :-)

One of the smartest looking fishing rafts we've seen

Thursday is a repeat of Wednesday

Under partly cloudy skies, temps. were back closer to seasonal today, although S.E. Alta still managed to see temps. in the high 20’s this aft. Tomorrow will be very similar to today, although there is a better chance of t-showers developing late in the day as a cold front pushes s. through our area. Behind the front, blustery, wet and chilly weather will prevail much of Fri. so hold onto your umbrella! The weather will clear Fri. night, and after a cool but dry weekend , a gradual return to seasonal temps. is expected for next week.

This note is for the person who is in the photo "Trolling for trout" with the canoe. We received your comment on the post, but for some strange reason, it came 'connected' to a post from much earlier in the year. Please sent an email to me at michelle@bowrivershuttles.com and I'd be happy to reply.

Kindest regards,
Michelle
