Today along the Bow River - June 2012

Spent Father’s Day afternoon at the lake with Armand and other family members. Practised casting in the wind. Spent more time unravelling twisted line than casting! No fish were harmed today. :-)

The Bow River in Calgary declined 15 cms over the past 24 hours.

The tributaries declined marginally.

Bow River at Calgary: 258 cms
Elbow River below Glenmore dam: 31 cms
Fish Creek: 3 cms
Highwood River near the mouth: 63 cms

Total Bow River flow below Highwood: 355 cms

Another Unsettled Day

The unsettled weather will continue through Wednesday. The good news is some heat should return to the forecast by the end of the week!
