River forecasters keep watch as rains approach
by Colette Derworiz, Calgary Herald, Wed, April 09, 2014
With warmer temperatures melting the snow, the province's river
forecasters report some minor flooding along creeks and streams - but no
impact on major rivers such as the Bow, Highwood or Oldman.
For that, they're looking to the Rockies where the snowpack is average to above average.
But both forecasters and experts agree it's still to early to tell what that will mean in June.
